Elementary School Curriculum (Grade K-5)
Elementary students benefit from the option of connecting in a warm virtual learning environment facilitated by their VLAC teacher. Students learn through asynchronous curriculum and tangible learning materials. Optional live lessons offered weekly help students to engage in the curriculum and lesson content as well as gain a connection with their mentor teacher and fellow students. Elementary students benefit from support at home through a required learning guide, typically a parent or caregiver. As we are an asynchronous program, having a learning guide at home is critical for elementary aged students.
