Project 1: City Council Member: Sister City

In this task students will explore how groups of people influence the environment. They will learn how places and regions have physical and human characteristics, and one's culture and experiences may influence perception of place. The products in this task include a virtual field trip, newscast, and map.

Project 2: Past, Present and Future Farming

In this task students will explore how to build a local garden. They will use their knowledge of their community, geography, the environment, and the history of farming to decide on a garden design. The products in this task include school letter and school garden design.
