Virtual Learning Academy Consortium (VLAC) offers a high-quality, research-based, and standards-aligned K–12 curriculum designed to prepare students for success in school and in life. Our curriculum supports distance learning and provides students with a flexible, engaging educational experience.

We are committed to delivering a challenging and integrated program that emphasizes communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Instruction is thoughtfully sequenced in manageable steps and enhanced by multimedia resources, helping students engage with technology in meaningful ways and supporting every student’s path to success. 

Elementary School

VLAC offers engaging virtual courses in reading, math, science, and social studies. Elective options include iReady personalized reading and math instruction, and traditional PE, Art, Music and Foreign Languages, etc.

Middle School

Students in Grades 6-8 personalize their experience with the choice between two dynamic curriculums including high interest elective courses.

High School

High School Students in Grades 9-12 have the flexibility to choose Imagine and Lincoln Learning courses. Students have the freedom to select electives from a vast catalog of choices.

Lincoln Empowered offers standards-based courses that make it possible for schools to meet the needs of students who want to learn in subject areas. Lincoln Empowered courses give students multiple ways to engage with, understand, and demonstrate mastery of the course content.
